Hi guys, i am currently rebuilding my buggy using the tips I found on this thread. I wanted to say thank you to all for the information provided. I wanted to know if anyone had setups for rc tracks of las vegas. I am hoping to get back into racing but that track just seems to be very loose/low traction...especially if im not in the groove. Im the only one running agama out there.

Have somebody tried the Asso Air filter? part number ASC81124. Does the suport fits well with the fuel tank and the filter cap?

You can probably check out Darrens setup sheet from 2015 Silver State in Vegas. I don't see one from worlds warm-up race that was out there this year.

A215 Acceleration is diabolical if you add some thick midd diff oil. like a 20/20/5
Running the right clutch bell 17(stock) seems to be working well for us down here in South Africa. We have massive tracks. Even motocross guys mistake the track for a MiniCross Motox track. as the straights are long and jumps are Huge.

Make sure you run 17t mostly and you should be fine. otherwise something else is wrong.
Hi cuz

How much diff oil do I put in the diffs?

Just little above the small gears. Not overfill the diff. Let it settle for some minutes to remove the air bubbles in the oil.

Hello all, I'm new to Agama and was looking at the option parts and ran across the optional gear set 39t/12t? Is seems to include the front and the rear diff gears and a new spur gear. What advantage would this provide in terms of handling or drive?

This is a more "traditional" buggy gearing than what comes stock in the buggy. We have been testing it on Hunter's nitro and Billy's Ebuggy with good results. Running 5/5/3 in the diffs, it loosens up the car quite a bit and creates a lot more rotation, but doesn't pull so hard out of the corners. It does make for quite a bit different driving style though. It is not for everyone, but under the right conditions and with the right driver, it may pose a slight advantage. Certainly not a total necessity but another option part to help tailor the car to your liking. I know Billy has a few sets coming on the next stoking order.

Nate,

I think you mean the 1.3x6 pistons and yes they work great, easily my favorite pistons. The standard recommended setup is 1.3x8 front and back with Losi 42.5wt oil in the front and Losi 37.5 wt oil in the rear. Medium/orange springs all around.

Currently I'm testing the 1.5x6 pistons with medium/orange springs. They work better for bumpy/choppy tracks but have less pack on landings and take-offs from high speed jumps. With temps topping out at 100 degrees here I have found that I'm liking Losi 50wt in both front and back. The car jumps very flat with this setup and and handles the steep jumps at my home track. Definately a good tuning option.

Hope this helps and good luck!

What bodies besides the stock kit body is available for the A215?
I'm going to build a new kit soon but I'm not crazy about the stock body.

Thanks

I haven't tried any others myself but I read that others have had the best luck with bodies that fit the XRay XB8.

xray xb8
HB d812
rc8.3
...apparently, but i can only confirm the xray one, but have seen posts on here stating the other two also work with minor massaging.

i have been looking at the new Serpent SRX8 body too and seems like it might be very close..need someone to try i guess.

a215 ebuggy also fits obviously

I like the ebuggy body pretty well. Nice and tough since it is more rounded.

XB8 body fits but rubs throttle servo a bit. Pretty sure it caused me to kill a servo the other week.
