Here is some short video of one of the nats stages last week in my country (Chile, southamerica).

Track was very loose, car performed exelent. Qualified 2nd on A Main but at minute 12 a guy crashed hard on me and broke a shock plastic end ... came back to race 2 laps behind 10th position and ended on 7th ... happy with the car, sad with the result ...

Annual WV Brawl for it all race is in the books. Dave Osborne took TQ and win. I finished 2nd. In the 30 minute main, the cars were flawless and very consistent. Easy to drive with good rotation in the turns and then squaring up on acceleration. Don't believe I could have ask for anything more from the car.

So, yesterday i've received order with agama clutch system (and with dynamite max-life mugen shoes), also i had stock mugen clutch on hand. Took my calipers, here are results:
1) Shoes are about the same. Agama is a bit longer, but width of contact patch is identical
2) Bells are different, mugen about 1mm taller, mostly because of taller gear part
3) Pins spacing on flywheel is identical. But agama flywheel is a bit taller (i guess 1mm coming from shorter gear on bell).
4) Idle state shoes' diameter is equal (agama shoes vs dynamite shoes on agama fluwheel). Haven't measured it using calipers, but my eyeball told me that.
5) Bell ID on agama is 0.6mm bigger than mugen bell. That gives 0.3mm more travel for each shoe during engagement, so i think it doesn't makes a sense, just a bit more time to break-in for mugen shoes.
6) Springs are not equal. It's impossible to use agama springs on mugen-like shoes, they have another curve pattern and agama springs with mugen shoes brings one segment of spring too close to the bell.

Hi guys!
I have a question for you. I´m looking into this kit a find it very interesting.
I´ve been driving the Xray XB8 for two years now and it´s a good car but not for me, I think it lacks some steering on low bite tracks and need a ton of adjustments just to do ok. I know that the MP9 is good from the box and don´t need much adjustments.

I need a car that is really good out of the box and don´t need much adjusments to do well and also can handle low bite tracks with plenty of dust and ruts.

I wonder if this car are just as good handling wise as the MP9.

Thanks in advance!

More traction, and more drive. Really enjoyed driving the car. Was able to still have steering but I had more setup changes to add traction to play with it seemed like.

Smile A215

Hello Guys,

Quick Question, where is everyone mounting their personal transponders on the A215? Had to relocate mine at the Wicked Weekend race, it would count and then not count. Provide pictures if possible.

Thanks

Cool A215

Hey Quincy,

You missed a good one 518 entries, almost as many as Psycho! There were only (2) A215s there that I can recall. I finished my A215 build on Wednesday, two days before the race. I must say the car is good but struggled a little with rear traction at the beginning. Managed to qualify 7th in the B-Main 40+, only finished 2 qualifiers. I was on 9 lap/5:20 pace to make the A Main but thats when the car stopped counting, best run of the weekend. Wish there were more Agamas at the race, would have been nice to bounce some setups off other Agama drivers. With a little more time the car will be great. What size battery are you using?

Thanks
Will
