Default 2014 Off-Road Worlds

With the 2014 Off-Road Worlds only a few weeks away, it is time to start the speculations on who will become the new champ! With the track having some many different surfaces, do the european drivers have an advantage? Will the youngsters like Dakotah Phend or Ty Tessman be able to claim their first worlds title? Or will the seasoned drivers like Drake, Tebo, Maifield or Lutz step up and claim this one?

I think it will be between Tessman, Maifield, and Drake. Tebo is too inconsistent with his engines and. Lutz will be in the ball park along with phend. It will make for some good racing.

Tessman maifield and phend. Everyone else are just dark horses or coming along for the ride IMO. But hell watch it be someone unexpected like the last 2 worlds

Would Hara be up front with the Sworks?

I think the surface will heavily favor the Euro drivers. Ronnefalk is my pick for the win.

I don't think it favors them, but it certainly makes things equal. Ronnefalk and Bloomfield will be on fire.

Transitioning to a flat fast Euro track is a lot easier for the US guys than transitioning to a bumpy rutted US style track for the Euro guys. So it's not gonna slow them down any for sure.

Well.. the Euros track had a lot of hard surface, so we saw who did best on that.
The fastest lapping guys were Battle, Ronnefalk, Teemu Leino and Bloomfield.
So I think that will be the case again, and then add the rest of the worlds best drivers to that, Tessman obviously the main candidate.

Same top 3 from the last Worlds. Battle, Hara and Tessman. No particular order.

Tessman is really tough to go against even against the euro dudes.

I would like to see Maifield win but not a losi fan.

Phend is the overall fastest driver but I dunno if he can hold em off if he crashes.

Phend will TQ overall, and will be the fastest guy on the track, however a few crashes will take him out of the running.
Tessmann 1st, Phend 2nd (If he doesn't blowout), and 3rd will be a toss up between Ronnefolk, Maifield, and Moller

I follow results VERY closely for the Top 25 Ranking list and I would put my money on Tessmann, Ronnefaulk, or Phend. Outside of those 3, people that are hot right now are wheeler and Savoya (despite his Euro performance). Dark horses for me would be Moller and Wernimont.

this may be useful in predicting who might be there in the end.

This is Ronnefalk's race to win. After seeing him drive by everyone at DNC, flame, then do it again only to flame again was incredible. Best driving I've ever seen. I'll also make the early prediction that if you're not on AKA Catapults you're off pace (see 2014 Euros).

You have a point Gaffney. He was definitely the fastest guy at dnc. If he had only flamed only once he may hav still won if not at least podiumed. Thats how fast he was
