Default clutch for under $40... lutz?

I need a new clutch and was thinking about getting the lutzrc clutch but have not been able to find any posts about it.
So has anyone used it and how do they like it?
Are there any other good full clutch setups out there for under $40?

Its the Alpha clutch.

Ive used it. The shops wear well and have a pin through them to top the spring from wearing a groove in the shoe and the tension changing.

It runs like any other 3 shoe clutch I've used

The Reds 4 shoe Quatro clutch is the best clutch we have ran. It may be a bit more than $40 but the way the shoes last you will be money ahead in the long run.

Feel free to ask me any questions you have on the LutzRC clutch. You can reach me on here or Facebook (Ryan Lutz Racing) (LutzRC) or off my blog lutzinator.com

Personally lately I have been trying to mix and match the shoes (Aluminum and Teflon.)

What I am liking in buggy is 2 Aluminum (One Medium and one Hard spring) Than one teflon shoe with 1.0 spring.

All parts for my clutches are available on www.lutzrc.com and many are on Ebay from me as well.

Let me know if there is anything else I can answer for you! :-)

**Also by running the clutch you can be part of the LutzRC Revolution - Just by using the clutch if you win your local race (10 entires or more, any skill level) just share your victory and performance thoughts with LutzRC on Facebook and e-mail me a picture of the A Final heat sheet and you get $5 in LutzRC Cash! :-D

I have to agree on this one

been in the hobby for a few years now and learnt so much based on Ryan Lutz setups, tips, vids, driving,... I don't know Ryan at all but what I can say is that he gives the impression of a person who is willing to share with everyone. I love this generosity and also his sense of detail. Just to give an example, look at this vid: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ucQCRcxL0Ps.. the level of precision in the instructions is great, he really provides the tools to learn and understand. Thanks Ryan! BTW my girlfriend just bought a Ryan Lutz v2 engine just because it's pink .. good news is it's also very good her last buggy was a DNX408 also and I'm now running a DESC210R

edit: sorry if no one cares it's a topic about a clutch but just wanted to thank Ryan too as I have the opportunity to do so

Yes, I knew the screen name and your e-mail from your order today seemed familiar. Your items went out today! In the future feel free to check out my website to see some of the other items I offer for the clutch (Teflon shoes, bearings, ext.) Thanks and let me know if I can be of any help! :-)
