Default 1/8 nitro truggy shocks

hi! if anyone could direct me to any threads/posts about shocks that would be great! otherwise,i know different shock weight is stiffer or lighter. but what do you use for dirt nitro. how to combine the springs with oil weight? (for the track)? is there a shock bible on here?LOL! thanks!

Depends on what type of track, temps and what you want the truggy to do. People cant just give you a magic number that works but can get you in the ballpark. Google JQ setup guide or Hudy setup manual that should get you going.

Each car or truck with take a different shock set up. If you really want to learn: 1: start with the Standard Set up. This can be found on TLR.com
2: Download the Hudy Set Up Guide
3: Head to the track and practice.

Start with stock and then tune from there. Follow the Hudy guide as above and when you make changes go for a larger change so you can feel the difference.

rc8t my setup front oil 35 rear 35 fill the oil on the shock 1/2 shock shaft out front and rear 1/2 or less shock shaft out piston 1.3 or 1.4 kyosho blue springs the best play with the droop screws on the arm and measure the arms with a caliper hight @ arm level rear
