Default rc10ds and dirt conversions

I have been putzing with this stuff well over 35 years and a few times life got in the way,
I am getting back into it but I am still very old school, ran stuff like rc250's 500's etc...too flat lol

I dug the rc10 and then moreso rc10gt ( nitro ) stuff, nitro with some suspension.

I have a lot of rc10's/rc10gt's I would mod them with various arms and parts to make both closed and open wheel dirt track cars,

Some way I missed the rc10 ds car, I vaguely recall it coming out and have been looking around wouldn't mind to buy a couple, ( nitro only ) seem harder to find than gt's were ds unpopular?

so what is it really?
It appears to run the same chassis as the rc10gt but different/short arms, axles, towers and a flat front end carrier...cool.
Will that front suspension plate bolt right to a gt pan or does the pan have to be redilled?

Okay, I will let someone ds savvy tell me what all they were unique on...

Many thanks!
