mtpocketsracing - no offense but if you are only using a Gal every 2 months, I dont think, this conversation pertains to you. I use almost a gallon of fuel per weekend. More if I practice during the week.

Also, $450 for bike tires. Alot of racers could spend that on tires for our RC cars in a month. ijs

A gallon a weekend? Wow. So granted I only run buggy, I used less than 1/2 gallon racing two days this past weekend. So you're doubling up every race day and twice a weekend, yeah I could see a gallon. I can also see you probably dropped $3000 or more in your stuff, so a 1% cost per week to run doesn't seem like a huge deal to me.

To do anything at all in this hobby as a dealer, you almost have to deal in a lot of different items. I'm talking full-fledged hobby shop. Tough for just an RC-store to make it alone.

I don't see what the fuss is really about. Ive ben in this hobby for nearly 15 years. I think the whole time fuel has stayed at about the same price for me.

Where I am fuel can cost 38-45 a gallon. Thank goodness I have a better way of getting it.

Just ordered 3 gals from him, sounds like good stuff and in the long run, cheaper then driving one hour each way to buy Byron's at my closest hobby shop. When your trying to teach your wife how to run and soon race truggy and keep it between the pipes, fuel seems to burn pretty fast.

LOL! Guess you don't burn much nitro when you can't keep your buggy running and have to use a friends ride, just to race your main.

450 2 tires and they only last about 20-26 laps depending on how long the track is. A typical 2 mile long track and 24 laps You're talking about 48 miles out of a set of cheap bargain priced race tires. Now run a race every weekend. $1800 a month on just tires. It looks like Rc cars are very inexpensive hobby to only spend $30 gallon a weekend is nothing.

I don't know what you're talking about. I didn't use anyone's car to run any main other than my own.

business 101, if you are not averaging 30% margin, you are going out of business slowly....
Dont like the price of fuel, dont buy it.
