I guess if fuel cost is an issue, time to look for a new hobby. Lipos can be very costly to. I have 30 some guns I like to play with to. Bought any ammo lately, if you can find it....

Almost positive I just spent $35 with tax for a gal of 3000. And my buddy has it in his head he can have some. I guess I'll have to have the man talk with him.

Now if you want to be upset at the price of something do it about tires. $75 a set of 4 with rims and foam is way over priced. But that's about what you'll pay for them.

what about a father with 3 kids that want to race, 6 bucks per just turned into 18 per hour. If dad wants to race also...24 a hour. Sure...you don't mind paying 30+ bucks a gal. for nitro but i'm betting you bitchen when the price of gas go's over 4 bucks a gal.

Its not a issue as its just BS....amain could offer up and sell cases of quarts, but no...more bucks for them and byrons. Seems like the best deal is Bones brew, 30 bucks shipped to your door. F*** byrons!

Quarts are an even bigger expense than gallons. A quart of Byrons is what, $10-12? That's $40-48 a gallon. So $160 for a case of 4 gallons, and $30 for shipping (which is underpriced), $190. That's $47.50 a gallon at $10/qt. At $12/qt it's $55.50 a gallon.

that's my gripe...If a small company can offer 12 quarts for about 90 bucks to your door, "seems to be good stuff"...why can't 2 larger company's "Amain-Byrons do the same or even cheaper. Its called american greed.

I was not arguing with you. I am sure expenses are hard on allot of people. How much would it cost you to take those 3 kids to a movie? Popcorn and soda? And then you also get to watch advertisements while you are there. I 100% agree with you that corporate greed is ruling our country but believe me when I tell you in this particular situation it is not A main hobbies or your local hobby shops getting fat on your money. Most likely it is your government with all the bullshit taxes that pocket the most profit from every gallon or quart of fuel. I can also assure you that a small company mixing fuel in his garage is not going to have the same expenses as the larger brands who have to compensate for 10X the overhead of Brent from Bones Motorsports. What this all boils down to is people as a society won't ever do anything to stop the big corporations or our very own government from taking every last penny from our pockets because we are too scared and lazy to take a stand and stop using the products. If everyone stopped buying gasoline because the prices were too high I can promise you they would go down, same thing for cigarettes and movies and CD's and everything else we have to have in our lives. The people that control these things know that we will pay whatever the price to get it beacause we don't want to live without them. Gasoline is a necessity though so it's really not fair to compare it to fuel for your recreational hobby. People in Canada pay like $15 a gallon for fuel because the only other choice they have is to ride their bicycle. We live in a messed up world and until someone organizes a very large group to take a stand its going to get a whole lot worse before it gets any better.

Thank you....well put. Just think...if everyone here in the states refused to drive just for one day, the price of gas would drop by dollars. But people get themselves so strapped they can't afford to do so. I wish Amain and Byrons would work together for everybody's sake, not just for their few sponsored drivers. If everyone would boycott them both, the price would drop big time. But ... that would never happen.

Yeah 10min. races suck but when the time comes that you can't buy good nitro for $30 and under i'm swapping over. Paying $30+ a gallon is total BS and am understanding why more and more are making the switch.
Sounds like you need a new hobby that's a great price for fuel this hobby is cheap compared to other hobbies go golf or even mountain biking don't be a cheap ass support your LHS or maybe find a hobby that supports your budget like I don't know cross stitching

It has nothing to do with A main hobbies. They make pennies on fuel just like the rest of us. They may make a little more beacause they probably buy 100 cases at a time and get volume discounts but they have no control on Hazmat fees or shipping charges. If you buy quarts of fuel that are shipped from anyone there are no hazmat fees. That is one way that Bones fuel is able to ship for $30 a gallon. You get 12 quarts for $90 and you don't pay Hazmat. I highly doubt anyone is going to forgo profit to lower fuel costs. What's the point to even sell it if there is no profit for the retailer?

My Tornado juice just went up from €44 a gallon to €50 at my miserable pathetic excuse for a LHS. At that price I would have had to do some serious reconsidering, but after a brief panic I was able to find it online for €44, so so far so good.. $30 though, or heck even €35 would be a dream.. At least beer here is good and cheap..

One suspicion I had was that maybe they're trying to justify higher prices since so many people have gone with electric, but at my LHS the stuff flies off the shelf, and if you're not careful they'll be out it for two weeks at a time.. I think this applies to some other shops as well. Demand is definitely there.

You guys in the US don't know ya born!! 28 bucks a gallon is a steal. We pay double that in the UK and elsewhere in Europe... Not only on fuel but most other things as well! Sorry guys but to complain about 28 bucks a gallon is funny!

Plus I find fuel a minor cost in comparison to running the chassis/tyres/engines etc etc etc! Trust me electric is no way cheaper than nitro! By the time you've fried a couple of ESC's and motors and puffed a few lipos believe me it gets just if not more expensive. I've been there...

Not when you get into racing. My boys play highly competitive youth Golf and they travel. My wife is into beading, have you checked the cost of beads? She can easily spend a few hundred on a necklace. In Colorado, I mountain bike like Trek Session. RC is still WAY more expensive.

The sad part is, the dealer selling it for $28 a gallon still isn't making much considering he is the fella with the overhead.
