Default Retract Servo for Steering?

Can I use this Retract servo as a steering servo on my 1/8? Seems like a good deal, quick enough with plenty torque at 300oz

Cheers

Does this kind of servo center or does it only have 2 positions, extend and retract with no in between per command like a normal servo..Beginning to think its self explanatory given the name..
Either way better to ask...
