Nitrage 5.2
Hey everyone I am looking at buying a Nitrage for $200. Is this a good deal? Kinda new to the nitro thing. I read this truck is discontinued. Is it hard to get parts for now? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi,
I have a Nitrage fitted with the optional 2 speed tranny and truggy wheels.
It's a great basher truggy, Tough as nails.
It comes with a Force .32 motor so it runs like a raped ape...
never had a tuning issue with the engine either.
It just needs a better steering servo (Hitec 7955), pipe (Dynamite 086) and stronger springs (TNX 5.2r)
It's not a race truggy.

The plastic spur gear in the center gear box (no center diff) don't last, the clutch bell had a slot for a tiny dog bone to turn the center gear box and so you cannot change to the common clutch bell with 3 shoes, and... the original 2 piece spring 'wrap around' clutch shoe also don't last...
The gears in the rotor-starter don't last too.

Three years of bashing mine pretty hard and haven't had any issues yet
I bash with mainly Savages and the Nitrage whips them good.
I did convert my rotor start to pull start.
