Help - Older GT2 (I think)
 

I've been out of the hobby for a few years and just picked up a lot of 3 RC's off a kid from school for dirt cheap. I've never had a nitro before other than a revo 2.5 that I couldn't ever get to run and have what i think is a GT2. I've got a lot of questions. First off, is it even worth my time? It doesn't have a glow plug heater or a starter box. Should I sell it as parts or could I get it running without putting much into it? The truck looks pretty good minus a broken a arm. The only thing I'm seeing that converns me is a lot of play near the pinion. Almost like a spacer is broken/missing. Could be totally wrong though. I'm going to attack a bunch of pics. Tell me what you guys think. Should I get it running, or just sell it like it is (if I even could). I'd like to sell it, but if I could get it running for cheap I may keep it for a bit.

Also, could I attach a pullstart to this instead of needing a starter box? Thanks

After doing more research, I'm thinking this may be a Mugen MST-1. I have no clue. Lol

All I see are two traxxas rustlers...

That makes sense now, thanks. I can't believe I didn't notice the losi logo on it. lol. Can someone identify what engine that is? So I can possibly get a pull start for it. Thank you guys. I'm still a little slow, I've been out of RC's for a while now. lol

Engine is most likely an OS .12 CVR. Youd spend just as much converting it to a pull start as you would buying a replacement engine.

I'm all set I think. I'm not going to put that much into it when it's not even worth much running. Maybe I'll try and sell it the way it is. Or maybe throw an old electric system in it. Haha.

Spend $40 and buy a bump box.

It's on ebay just like it is. Hoping to get my money back for what I paid for the package. I paid $50 for this and the 2 rustlers along with a traxxas VXL combo. Also a reedy brushless combo that may or may not work. My profit will be in the one newer rustler that I'm finishing up. Thanks for the help guys.
