Top 25 RC Driver Ranking System
#61
Because Hara hasn't had as many scoring events as some other drivers this race will have a big affect on his ranking. should be interesting to see how it all plays out.

Is Silver State considered a national level event worth 150 points to the winner or what?
And then also, can you reinform me, is 2nd place worth 149 pionts or what's the breakdown again?

Kgombe- I agree but he always seems to get it done at the worlds!

Since the number of qualifying races a racer participates in is one of the main factors for determining their position on the scale can you include that as a column on the chart too? It would help the person at home figure some results during the race. I.e.if race X finishes in his current position he would be the new points leader...

My ST-RR EVO. That is a possibility but it's a litte more complicated then that. For silver state this would work because if is a new race to the List. But say when roar nationals come to calculate the finishing points you would have to know how many qialifing races a driver attended as well as what their finishing points were in 2012 because those points will drop out at that point. Bit I like you idea and I think it would be cool to play put different scenarios before the mains are actually in the books. I won't be able to do that for this race but most of the top is drivers on the list have attended 5 or 6 qualifying races. So to get a rough idea of what might happen you would do this.
drivers average points(#on the list) x 5 (or 6 if they when to neobuggy race). Then + drivers Silver state finish (150 for the win and 145 for 2nd and so on)
Then divide that number by 6 (if you used 5 on the first part) or 7 (if you used 6)
This is a safe bet for the us guys only. Hara is only counting 3 races right now for example.
Hope this helps.
AMS could count, it depends on who shows up to race.

Here are the updated Top 25 RC rankings following Silver State Nitro Challenge held in Boulder City Nevada. Some big movements on the list. Most notably is the appearance of Australian driver Kyle McBride in the 11 spot after winning Silver State. Kyle was not present on the previous list due to not attending enough qualifying events. Another big change was Atsushi Hara dropping 7 spots after finishing 18th this past weekend in Boulder City. US driver Drew Moller climbed 4 spots after a great weekend landing at #12. At the top of the Top 25 list, Ty Tessmann continues his reign as the world #1 ranked driver. This list might be short lived after the upcoming Neo14 held this weekend.
