Default Different racing classes

How many different off road classes are there in our wonderful hobby? Lol

Also, are 1/8 buggy and truggy the only nitro classes for off road?

In my country for 1/8 nitro, there are buggy, truggy, and monster truck. Also 1/8 electric buggy.

Well off the top of my head I know of nitro and electric buggy and truggy, short course, 1/10 2wd and 4wd buggy. Are there any others? At least around the south Texas area?

Probably too many, which may be hurting the sport (this has been argued a thousand times, by the way).

Typically, in the U.S., for 1/8th scale there's Nitro and Electric Buggy and Truggy. Electric Truggy is not very popular in my region (ROAR Region 2), but that may be different elsewhere.

For 1/10th, short course (both 2wd and 4wd) are very popular along with 2wd buggy. 2wd stadium truck seems to be falling off, doesn't exist in my region anymore except for a few here or there. All of these classes seem to fall under either stock or mod, depending on your area, where stock defines a maximum motor rating. As someone else mentioned, nitro truck may be available in your area, but I haven't seen this in a while either.

I would honestly find a local track you like the vibe at, and see what classes they run... find what you think best fits you and go with it.

I'm already running 1/8 nitro buggy, I was more curious than anything else lol
Besides, I can barely afford buggy haha. How do I find out what region I'm in?
