Default HPI Savage 4.6 Special Edition

Hello all- my apologies if someone has asked something similar. I have an opportunity to buy one of the limited edition Savages from 2012 release date(I think it was 2012 anyway). My question is, obviously it would have set for an amount of time now. I imagine when the factory packaged it, they did all the necessary things to allow it to set on the shelf and not have any damage done to the motor.

So my question is, would there be any concern from a mechanical point of operation. i.e. Would the motor have any issues like seizing, etc because it's been awhile since it's turned? Thanks for any help. I'm fairly new to Nitro, so these may be a dumb question.....but I thought I'd ask anyway.

I would be very surprised if a brand new engine would be seized. Just stick you finger on the flywheel and move it. When the engines are built in the factory they use a light machine oil to assemble the parts.
