Default Losi 2.0 RTR Front Univeral Drive shaft issue

Hello all, I recently purchased the 2.0 RTR buggy and have been breaking it in, Less then a quart and a half into breaking it in I noticed that the front universal drive shaft had come out of it's place. This happened on fairly flat ground without any real 'cause' for it that I saw.

My questions are, How common of an issue is this? Has a way to solve the issue been found? and how difficult of a repair job is this? ( Do I have to dismantle my entire mid front end area in order to reset it in it's proper place? )

I assume you mean the centre drive shaft . . .

I have experienced the issue you are having - make sure you use fresh lock tight on the grub screws.

I eventually went with the 3.0 outdrive/dogbone set up. This set up elevates the little grub screw that holds in the universal joint pin that always kept working loose on me. I haven’t had a problem since.
