What pen or paint marker are you guy's using to mark the weights on your gear boxes, diff. cases and shocks?

I just use a silver sharpie but u gotta buy a three pack with gold and bronze I believe

white paint pen on the diff. housing and a silver sharpie on the shocks
but you will need to keep on it because it rubs off ez.

Only problem with a black sharpie is if your gear is black also..

I keep notes in my I phone. They don't wipe off

Funny you mention this.. I was at pnb last year and had to give my transponder number to the race coordinator and I had them in my phone... Well at least I thought I did. I went to look for them and my 5 year old son decided random letters and numbers were better so it all was deleted lol

Wow! so many to choose from, maybe the oil-based might be harder to rub off?

I never had any come off.. I bought the three pack 1 silver 1 gold 1 bronze but it was the only option at the time.

Note pad and pen.. Keep it in your box or bag. Not only write down fluids but also notes to how the car did with such fluids. I like taking notes.
