Default RC8 Prototype

Geometry looks good...Interesting front hub design...reminds me of old LP2 but the attachment at the arm is like the losi - agama - XB9 etc...

Looking at the layout from under the chassis, the diff is very offset to the left. Solid arms too with carbon fiber inserts. You can tell the new RC8 is very D812 like. Looks like a lot of ball studs also.

the front is very odd in that the camber link appears to actually attach to the kingpin. im wondering how this works. the rest of the front hub design looks like the d4 style suspension which us a very good thing especially if it handles like a bigger version of that buggy

upon closer inspection, there appears to be a spot for the link beside the kingpin as it is on most other cars. I wonder if that will be an option or is just something they are switching between at the event

With the engine being so close to center and the diff offset so far, I'd have to believe that the pinions are offset to the side in the bulkheads like the Losi. They would pretty well have to do that to help straighten the center drive for reduction in friction and wear.

It's like Josh is building the CR8 that HPI didn't let him finish.
