Clutch Shoe Characteristics (from our clutch shoe comparison chart)

Medium (6061 Aluminum)
Slip (The amount that the engaged clutch shoes slip inside the clutch bell before fully engaging.) - Low Softer clutch shoes slip less and grip more quickly, putting power to the wheels earlier in the power band.
Life Expectancy and Wear Characteristics - Medium Normal Life Expectancy (comparable to stock shoes) due to moderate shoe wear.
Ideal Track Surface (Surface type that clutch shoes are best suited for) - High Traction, Damp, Turf

Hard (7075 Aluminum)
Slip (The amount that the engaged clutch shoes slip inside the clutch bell before fully engaging.) - Medium Harder shoes slip more and grip less quickly, putting power to the wheels more slowly and smoothly.
Life Expectancy and Wear Characteristics - High Long Life Expectancy (longer than stock shoes) due to shoe hardness causing minimal wear.
Ideal Track Surface (Surface type that clutch shoes are best suited for) - Low Traction, Dusty, Dry
