Default Help needed identifying chssis please...

I picked up these 2 cars a while back on ebay. The seller did not know what name or model, and would like to rebuild them for my kids. There are no dates and no numbers. I know the smaller is a nitro, and both are 4WD.

Any ideas? Im hoping to find out which models so I can at least find the missing mounts etc. Am digging up the nitro motor and will post pics if that may help. All thoughts are welcome! Thanks again gents

Had a look, cant seem to find anything Do you happen to know of
a specific car to start with? I tried searching via google and cant see any cars that look
similar, but that just may be due to the age of these 2. I searched vintage, 90's,
and keeping getting cars that look like the older hotshot and wild one. I would upload
some higher res pics, but cant post links and the max file size through the forum is pretty small..

To end of this thread, im going to just play around with these 2 cars and the parts I have on hand. I can machine some custom stuff and am looking at running electric on both with a direct drive to the diff. The smaller of the 2 has steel gears, have to check the larger and see if this is also the case. Maybe I can just make a couple of speed demons out of these yet

All the same, thanks for the input gents.
