I have both, and I have to say they are both GREAT PERIOD. Now my driving style I prefer on one track the MP9 and on another I prefer the XB9. Sometimes my XB9 really pushes hard in the corners slowing me down and with the Kyosho I don't have that problem, the Kyosho seems a bit nose heavy while the Xb9 doesn't but again it is your driving style as both are great rides but I do prefer my MP9

I've had both buggies. You can't go wrong with either. Any good driver will be just as good with either.
Heres what ive found out about both cars. i will say ive got the mp9 tki3 right now. i may swtich back to xray. Not that the k car is bad. It's a awesome car. I prefer the Xrays materials and longevity. You will be just as fast with either buggy IMO. It's all about practice.
Mp9 tki3
Pros
Amazing drive train...it just spins and spins
Probably the best shocks in the industry
Minimal setup changes required from track to track
Parts are pretty cheap on ebay
Cons
The price....you could almost get 2 Xb9's for same price
The anodizing of the gun metal wears to easy. Sorry it looks terrible...for 900 you'd think it wouldn't wear so fast! Including the chassis.
The plastics are no where near xray's quatility.
Xb9
Pros
The materials of the whole kit are best in biz
Super easy to work on
Gives the user a endless amount of setups
550 for kit
Parts don't ever wear including the chassis...
Cons
The drivetrain isn't near the k car
Parts are actually a little more
K car shocks are a little better
With all that said...both cars will be fast. This business is all marketing! Both buggies are top notch. Myself, I will be switching back to the xray because I don't like go fast the parts wear and the anodizing looks awful with the k car. Plus I will get the xb9e and the new xb8 for a little more then the mp9 kit.
