Default Charging a glow plug igniter

What does the output voltage do when charging a glow plug igniter. I know what the mA is but I'm getting so confused about the output voltage. Because I brought a charger from the US that had an output voltage of 1.25v but i live in Australia and i can't use that charger so i have got my own charger with an output voltage of 3v.
