Am I correct in assuming that this is to allow the droop screw to go further or is it to clear the tab on the chassis? Thanks in advance for the help.
Do it as shown here. Dremel both the droop screw area underneath and the part shown on the pic. It will make THE Car much better

Thanks, I've read through that guide several times and that's where I found the info about dremeling the arms. I was looking for clarity on the droop area. Hopefully it will be clear when the car is in hand.

Do both since you have nothing to lose, it's only a few minutes of work and the car will be very grafetul on a bumpy surface

Use an x-acto knife. It's much cleaner and you won't melt any of the plastic.

Because Hobbico think they own RC, they bullied Amain into dropping the JQ line. They did this because we got an energy drink sponsor called ARMA Energy, and Hobbico sell an RTR line of cars called ARRMA. They didn't like this because they were afraid of people actually begin to respect their brand, and/or being sued due to people trying to drink their RTRs.

That's unfortunate and ignorant on their part. Sounds like they're more scared than anything. Best of luck on getting JQ back into a major retailer here in the US, hoping its sooner than later.

For now you can get everything at usa.jqracing.com
The more sales we get there, the better we can build that up, maintain stock levels, and also begin carrying the other stuff.

Ahoy!!!

So I recently drove my nitro and ebuggy on the same track (hard packed clay with minimal dust) and they cars handled pretty good.
Im running an interesting set up on the nitro as far as shocks go.
Shocks F 7x1.3 500cst R 8x1.2(stock) 300cst. Seems soft but it was hooked on the track!! There were few large jumps so a lot of pack wasn't necessary. I'm running the latest setup from July, I believe, with minor tweaks such as rear link all the bottom on the tower, 2.3 rear sway bar with 10-10-3 diffs.
On the electric I was running the July set up with 7x1.3f/r with 500f and 400r and felt very good. The only other changes I made to the July set up were 10-7-3 diffs, 2.3 rear sway bar, and rear link at the top on the tower. A little more stable and predictable than the nitro. BTW both cars are LV.

So,.... when I was driving each car they would seem to hesitate out of a corner when accelerating. This primarily seemed to occur when the weight and load transferred to the outside tires. It appeared to me that when this occurred that the inside front tire would lift a bit and the car would accelerate better once that tire made better contact.
I'm thinking I will shock go back to the 2.5 sway bar in rear so less weight is transferred. Haven't been back tot the track to try it yet. What do you think?

Just one of those ideas that you always think of after the race race day is done.
"I should have done ______!!!"

Our white edition lv is built and pretty much ready to roll for this weekend. We went with the most recent setup sheet other than the added droop per Joseph's recommendation. It is nice to have so much support and information available. I'm very excited to see how it goes for my son this weekend and hopefully we'll have another one on the way for myself soon.

Thanks Robby, everything went together well. Little bit of shimming in the center diff mount and a couple of the uni's are a little tight in the out drives but nothing that a tank shouldn't clear up. Can't wait to get it on the track tomorrow.
