Depending on your motor setup you might have to add 100 grams or more to be legal. My truck is six grams over weight after adding 144 total grams of weight and a bunch of shoegoo

Know what bugs me ? I built this kit , and its a nice kit . The manual is merely adequate though. How the heck do they have such a nice truck with literally no explanations on the changes the different pills , shims, arm washers etc actually make. Which pill is a 1dg, which is .5dg ? How many ball shims is 1dg , 2dg , 3dg etc of camber ? Anybody seen this stuff written out anywhere ?

Adam Drake has a bunch of youtube videos that are great sources of info. He just did a video on caster as a matter of fact. Personally I do not get caught up in the actual #'s as far as what degree of caster or kick or camber I end up running. I make sure to start with a base setting for each track and then make adjustments that will help get my vehicle handling how I want it to feel. Your comfort in the handling and what changes you need to make to get that feeling are more important than setup #'s.

I think much of this is so vague, as over time going through Mugen Platform's - MBX5, MBX6 & MBX7 many come to figure it out as they have come along through the various chassis. If you go through and look at some setup sheets, at time it's written out, yet for the most part from our European Counterparts.

I agree, compared to the AE kits I've built the Mugen manuals may seem a bit sparse. That's kind of what I like about Mugen though. They don't make any cheap basher stuff, just 1/8 scale racing vehicles. They probably figure if you're buying a Mugen kit it's not your first rodeo and have at least a basic understanding of setup changes and are going to do your own experimenting anyway.

You can just google, Mugen Mbx7 arm position. I have not found a chart for the front yet.

Curious about this as well. Assuming the AE truggy has similar length? I know we can use the AE buggy uni's on the Mugen buggy if needed.

Thx!
