TLR waterproof air filter question/help!

I just bought a Losi waterproof airfilter for my eight since it has been raining alot here lately and I am lost on how this thing goes together, the inside foam is just a solid peice of foam so it won't go over the housing, is there a different way to put these together?? Thanks( couldn't find a thread on this already)

I don't own any losi rigs but, others leave the center on so the shape of the filter is maintained until its used. The center "cut out" should come out.

You shouldn't have to cut it out. Maybe it didn't get cut at the factory. I don't know what else to tell ya.

Ok unless anyone has other ideas I'm gonna head over to buy a new filter, just won't be able to run the pre-filter with it(they only have the filters from the regular filter housing and those are slightly bigger)
