Definitely hit the nail on the head.....always listen and take valuable advice on board from more experienced drivers. A forum member here who I raced with over the weekend who gave me the exact answers for my car setup which gave me the best result I've had thus far

Cars need maintenance. Higher end gear radio, servos, engine, etc usually fails less frequently limiting # if dnf's. Driving the same setup on every track when the car clearly needs something different.
If I'm going to loose I'm going to look good doing it

Pretty sure it's part of the aerodynamics package. Ya gotta be fast both on and off the track

Default Things that don't make u faster

1. Relying on other peoples set ups
2. Hoping from set up to set up rather than wheel time
3. Unbalanced tires
4. Bound up suspension
4.5 Bound up drive train
5. Racing someone instead of the track
6. Churning out laps without specific goals... The only truth is the clock...your favorite pro set up means less than u think...

Or putting ur name on the back of a shirt along with the hat, jacket, pit mat, etc...
