They are excellent. No complaints here.

There are some range issues with the DX2S which is mainly caused by the SR300 receiver. With range the older SR3000 receivers are the best.
The quality of an answer comes with the quality of the question.

Nearly everyone at my track has abandoned Spektrum. We've seen tons of bad radios. A Dx2 has a 50% chance of failing miserably within it's first 5 runs.

If you're after cheap. Airtronics has a "cheaper" radio that uses the same Rx as the M11x. Same Rx, likely the same performance IMO. I also think the M11x is also coming way down in price due to the new M12 being out.

Futaba and Airtronics are consistently the most reliable radios in my area. But I'm still boycotting futaba due to the whole FAAST overheating issue years ago. I don't think they handled that properly.

Todays good radios can last 10 years easy. Get the best one you can, don't cheap out on the Tx. It ain't easy building a quality radio. You can't expect everyone to get it right. Spektrum is really good at replacing bad radios, they know what they're selling.

What Zero said, do not go the cheap route on a radio...

Check the classified section, I have seen some outstanding deals on the M11X recently.

Found this M11X for sale by Wes Brown (Ryan Lutz's Mechanic)
