Default rc10gt, wider wheel/tire recommendations

Hi I'm new.

RC: rc10gt
Question:
Have stock 2.2 wheels/tires on it now. Stock tire height = 4.0" Stock width=2"

Looking for very wide and tall(er) rear wheels and tires. Preferably 3 inches wide, with a total height/diameter of 4.5"-5.0" tire.

I went to the LHS today and tried a couple wheels but they wouldn't clear the suspension so I need a deep dish offset. (not sure if thats + or - offset)

I tried to give a link to photobucket so you could see my rc but I guess I dont have enough posts. Check avatar pic for tiny version. lol

Is the main problem finding a deep enough wheel to clear the suspension?

pretty much. You wont find them wider, but you can get them taller.

Well poo.

I wanted Serpent like 3-4in wide wheels. I'll just have to settle for some masher 2000's on 2.2" I guess.
