New Brake Linkage

Has anybody tried the new brakes linkages? Wondering how the compare to the old one, advantage/disadvantages?

IMO both linkages work well. The new ones are just much easier to do quick, on track, brake bias changes.

I made some of my own before Tekno came out with theirs. Like Bill said, they both work great, but the new style is much easier to adjust on the fly.

Air Filters

Does anyone sell a bulk pack of 10 or so Tekno air filters? I see the 3 pack pre-oiled, but would love to have a 10 pack no oil.

I use these https://www.dialedhobbies.com/143/ai...-d812-9-detail
they work great and are cheaper than most.

anyone knows of any aluminum servo saver arm out there that'll fit? Im having binding issues with mine where the steering will not center no matter which servo I use. I went through the entire steering and found that the servo saver arm binds no matter how tight I adjust the spring tension. Tried cleaning it out and lubing it too. Really love this truggy but this issue really boggles me.
Thanks in advance

Thanks. Do they fit pretty snug?

They fit pretty good, but I also use vet wrap over the outside.

Gasket

I don't know that this is the right place to ask, but how long is the gasket between the pipe and header? Mine is only lasting a couple of race weekends before it develops tears.

Neesh, we do not currently make an aluminum servo saver arm and I am not aware of any aftermarket manufacturers either. I have never seen a binding issue caused by the servo saver. I have seen quite a few binding issues caused by the screws being too tight that hold the top plate to the steering post.

Try removing the screw that connects servo saver to the servo tie rod. This will allow the steering to move freely. If there is binding, loosen the screws that hold the top plate to the steering posts until the binding goes away. If this fixes the issue then you need to tighten the screws so they aren't binding the top plate to the steering bell cranks.

Buy OS made gaskets. They seem to last longer for me. If you have a Nova Rossi engine buy their red gaskets. Expensive but they last quite a long time.

That might sound like a silly question but for us that still run the NB48.2 and NT48 is there something that TEKNO will offer to fix that spur issue other then telling us to by the new kit or having to buy aftermarket company parts to fix the TEKNO issues? Is the new NB48.3 frame a direct fit? Not sure i want to buy 2 M2C frame (on top of the spur+clutchbell)especially with a not that old kit?

Proline Enforcer

Has anyone tried the Proline enforcer body? Wondering what the thoughts are on it? Don't really like that it covers up so much of the motor head. The Tekno body has grown on me. I like it and it's unique. It can be a bear to paint depending on the scheme.

Big_one, The NT48.3 will have an updated chassis as well as an updated spur gear to help reduce the chance of a gear mesh/failure caused by a hard landing. Both items will be available for sale separate from the kits and will fit the original NT48.
