I did mine very similar to Xt8truggy. I thought about mounting it on the battery cover, but I felt like it be a pain taking the cover on and off. Plus I had the cable running down the back of the box and I didn't like that. However, RokleM seems to have his cable going in the gap between the receiver and battery box. I took the mounting plate off my switch and us parma double side tape to mount the switch. Its clear (red cover), very sticky, but comes off a lot better than those paper type double sided tape. I've used it on my esc's and never had a prob so i fig it would work and so far it has.

No offense, but I think electronic switches do not work well at the stock location. It is one option, but there are exposed cables, the mounting location is too small, etc. I did this instead, but you also have to be careful. I have screws that are short enough to get into the plastic and flush, but not into the box. Obviously having a pointy screw in a battery box would be a bad idea
No solutions are ideal at this point and hopefully we will have some more mounting options in the future to support electronic switches vs mechanical. I've personally had enough mechanical switches fail that I no longer have any interest in using them.

Hmmm...I have the Ofna truggy blue starter box with a Picco motor. The flywheel is recessed a couple of mm inside the chassis and I'm able to hit it with no problems. I did have a problem getting the flywheel and starter wheel to line up. I was installing the brackets like the picture on the box. Now they are lined up like the picture on Ofna website and it works perfectly.

Got thru my first ever truggy and first ever nitro race this weekend at ROCCK Racing in Knoxville, TN. It was an adventure. Practice session went great except for being able to find a spot on the drivers stand. Anyway, I started to get a feel for the truck and how to drive nitro.
On race day I missed the 1st heat. I couldn't hear the heats from my pit spot. By the time I got to the driver stand they were already racing. I need heat to start my motor and they didn't want you to fire them up around the track until the heat before you was done. However, I noticed others were fired up so I was going to fire it up early for the 2nd heat anyway. Btw, I then noticed that my gear box couplers on the front and rear had moved. I had to remove and loctite the grubb screws again. Probably a good thing I didn't run.
2nd heat, stood by track. After heat in front on me got on the track, I went back to my pit stop with intentions of firing up my car and waiting in the staging area with it running. Engine would not fire. Changed plug - nothing. Noticed flywheel was turning freely. I knew my motor wasn't that loose. Had to take motor off and tighten flywheel.
Finally got on the track for the 3rd heat. Once I got in rhythm this truck was a pleasure to drive. I can't push my sc and buggy that hard. Each lap I was just pushing the truck harder and harder and it performed granted I'm not much of a driver. I left the stand pumped up.
B-main, I finished 5th out of 10, but I wasn't expecting much this time. Watching the A-main drivers, I don't know if I wanted any part of that. They were fast.
I did notice if I broke before a corner and turned, this thing turned tighter then my buggy. However, if I was late with the brakes, I ended up with a very wide turn - probably from me on the gas too much in the turn...in a hurry.
Anyway, I can't wait for my next race. No broken parts and I feel like this is a truck I can learn to drive. I don't know about anyone else, but, for me, driving truggy is the best adrenaline rush out of all the cars.

Hi all, any updates on the new release for the revised spur gear? I recently went through 2 version 2 spur gears. I was unable to finish my main and fearful of jumping the truck.
I run the truck with all chassis braces and ran a pretty tight gear mesh. Thanks.

Hi guys,
If using the stock flywheel, what other brand clutch bell fits?
I would like to use a 14T ventilated clutch bell on the truggy for our track.
I tried the X-Ray one (from my buggy), but it doesn't align with the spur gear.
Thanks in advance!

Ok So I ran my truggy for the first time today and the rear end is real loose. Cant get on power coming out of turns. If I do the rear end comes around. Setup advice please!! Believe my diffs are 10 10 5. What are some setups that will keep the rear end planted
