Radiosistemi RR8
#32
We'll have some more info soon. We will be distributing/selling the Radiosistemi RR8 in North America. It's supposed to be less expensive than the outgoing model, and more competitively priced with the Chinese/Taiwanese made cars..

Josh Alton is kinda being a D!@k on neobuggy, claiming they ripped the RR8 off of his D8 design...
whether they did or didn't i don't care really but i don't think he can talk much seeing he jumped on associated's RCMP9.2÷321^6 Factory Team TKI3 2.0
i'm sure kysho is thrilled about it

I'm not going to speculate what Josh is upset about.

I think the buggy looks pretty good. It has a lot of little features that are very useful. For example, the servo saver adjustment nut is on top for easy adjustment, a battery box that can be moved from front to rear, adjustable camber without taking front tires off, ability to bolt on weight to the front hubs, adjustable chassis brace, beefy arms, easy shock position adjustment.
One thing I did notice that seems kind of weird to me is the upper front arm requires a lot of shims, I run Mugen and I hate keeping up with those little shims.
Overall nice looking rig.

when this buggy will be available for sale in stores?
I can not wait ... This buggy seems to be really good, I currently drive a mbx6r and would switch to mbx7 but this car looks pretty good and I'd rather test this Radiosistemi RR8 that the pictures looks very good question remains then its durability compares with mugen?

why is this taking so long to reach the shops?
and what is your selling price?
I'm restless to have a RR8 looks like a good car, I drive a mbx6r. and I'll change my mbx6r by this RR8 the next season of rc in Azores.
already know what stores this RR8 will be available for sale soon?

for some 15 mm seem to act better than 16 mm or bigger all in all..
I would say 16mm is the best of both, 17 mm is too big
Josh Alton only said this because the wing, wingmount, tank, and sideguards are HB D8 stuff..
he is in fact only saying he is proud to have designed them, and someone else is using the parts too
