You certainly could, here are a list of some of the suspension parts that can be upgraded using RC8.2 parts:

89558 - Caster Blocks
89586 - RC8.2e RTR Shock Tower (front)
or 89538 - RC8.2 Front Shock Tower (aluminum)
89587 - RC8.2e RTR Shock Tower (rear)
or 89539 - RC8.2 Rear Shock Tower (aluminum)
89549 - Front Upper Arm
89550 - RC8.2 Front Arms
89551 - RC8.2 Rear Arms
89530 - RC8.2 Front Sway Bar Kit
89531 - RC8.2 Rear Sway Bar Kit

RTR Rear Hubs as well as they have 3 holes like the FT Hubs.

If you get the shock towes, then you need the shocks too - or at least the shock shafts. Sway bars require the new arms, etc..

I.e. you can't pick and choose so much. You need ALL of the above, and probably a few other things as well.

Usually when this question is asked, people say "just get an 8.2 - the price for everything you need is so high it almost doesn't make sense."

What I did was (after selling my 8.2), get an RC8B roller with "Upgrade" shocktowers. This is a big part of the geometry. You could also get the +3mm chassis - but then you also need the longer rear center shaft... And so on.

I have the worlds upgrade kit. Its the shock towers that have the geometry from the 8.2 that work with the original shock lengths I also have the arms which are modified rc8 arms without the risers. Theyre slightly used but still in good condition. Id love to sell this stuff just been sitting here for quite some time since I got the 8.2. I'd sell both towers and the arms for $40 shipped to lower 48.
