Default Best tires for 1/8 nitro buggy for mills pond

I have an xray 808 currently I'm running vp pro axman I don't get as much grip as I want the rear is very loose one of my friends told me that HB gridlocks are good tires but I want to hear more opinions and options

If you need more grip than the Axman is providing try the VP Pro Stryker EVO. They will provide more grip on a smooth surface. If you want more advice than that you need to tell us what conditions you are running in.

It's a hard packed track
High traction
Not a lot of blue grooves
Dry usually blown off

Well first off you should have asked this in the mills pond thread in the FL regional forum. You'd get more replies. I run BETA tire and really like the Cubez and V-max tires in soft if it's hot or Super Soft when it's a little cooler or slippery. Holeshots from Proline Gridirons and Impacts from AKA also work well.
