Default Novarossi P5X rehab

I have an older p5x laying around. There is no pinch left in the piston and sleeve.

Is it even worth spending the money on a new piston, sleeve. Or should I just let this thing go.

I dont need another engine, I have a good one. Just found this one in a box from about 7 years ago.

Thanks

I got a chuckle out of that...

I was thinking the same thing. Probably not worth putting much money into it.

But if I could get a highly competitive piston and sleeve in it for less than a whole new motor it might be worth messing with.

For $15 RW Mods will give it a pinch or he can rebuild it if you want to spend a little more money.

Yeah i'd get a fresh pinch and run it til the Conrod snaps. Not worth putting a new piston and sleeve in seeing as the bearings and rod are probably on their way out too...by the time you rebuild it you will have spent more than a new p5xlt costs. Get a pinch and run it into the ground!
