Default Losi 8ight T CVD's

Are the Losi 8ight T 1.0 dog bones shorter than 2.0's?

This 8ight T 2.0 i bought recently has dog bones that sit right on the outside of the rear and font diff cups? Both of my new ones sit about half way in?

I'm pretty sure if you were to switch out complete rear ends all you would have to do is make sure you keep the same center rear cvd, so if u were to put the 2.0 rear on the 1.0 you only have to put the 1.0 rear center cvd on the 2.0 because the 2.0s would be to long for the cup. There are very big differences in the arms because the 1.0 had short arms and used 'wide wheels' called half offset where the 2.0 has longer arms to use with deep dish wheels 'normal offset' and that also means cvd's are all different. Diff housing and diffs are different, I think the whole 2.0 was changed unfortunately. U should try n pick up another 2.0 on here they r going really really cheap. Sell the 1.0 to someone else who still wants one or needs parts, don't expect much tho.

Can anyone tell me what the differences in length between both the 1.0 and 2.0 cvds are?
