Check the rear arms and make sure they aren't warped. Check the F/R toe plates and make sure they are still flat. Replace the pills. You shouldn't have to go to a short link. Something is flexing more than it should.

check what outdrives it has, I had that problem in my XT8 and the problem was the outdrives, they was short, I buy the long ones and no more problem.

the below photo showing bayers truck definitely has c-hub front suspension, i wouldn't be surprised to see the buggies go back to c-hub in future.
