Hey guys, just getting back into nitro. Have my nb48 w reds r5c motor and pipe on the way. In addition to starter box, igniter, fuel bottle, servos and receiver pack what else should I buy immediately to be ready to go, I.e. Tools or different filter or anything so I'm 100% ready.
Also for the FTW body, is it a direct fit w no other modifications? Looks a lot bettr than stocker |

Hello to everyone. So I'm not having much luck finding a Tekno NT48 body. Does anyone happen to know of where I can purchase one? Thank you for your help. Yes, I know I'm posting in the NB48 section but it seams that more information is being shared in the buggy section.

Does stock body have protective film on it?

Saw the NB at a race today at Leisure Hours. I had the feeling I should of waited to buy it late last year and today I KNEW I should of waited. But nope,I picked up a D812 late last year.
I was impressed with how the car looked. Seeing it was the first time it had seen the track,I didn't ask for a test drive but I'm pretty sure I don't need one...Plus it would only bump up the self butt kicking I was wanting to do to myself. I think I might need to put that D812 up for sale cheap to get my hands on a NB...When the gut speaks, one should listen. I ignored it last year but I shall not ignore it anymore!! Keep us posted how you go with it mate    |

Took my NB48 out for her maiden voyage yesterday at Leisure Hours. After playing with some springs, camber links and tires throughout qualifying, I started second in the Bmain. Won it. Started 11th in the A and drove it up to third. If the race would have been 28 minutes instead of 30 I would have finished there, but my receiver pack died on me at the very end. Very pleased with the buggy! I like the way this car drives even better than my EB48 (which I love). This buggy was well worth the wait! Thanks Tekno!

JsK. Can you please delete this from the thread. Every time I look at the two sitting together. It keeps pushing me more closer to hitting the buy button for the truggy. :)

I'm with mr240, you might have to take this down :). Not because I want a truggy (I already have one), but because I want to steal this paint scheme!!

Cant wait to start my 4th Tekno build tomorrow...the NB48! Hoping I can get it built in time to test it out Sunday. Anyone running the Buku clutch in theirs?
|
Built yesterday O and P bags (shocks). Found that after placing shock onto the shock tower, installing bushing and securing flanged locknut shock itself doesn't move freely. Its my fault or all that stuff needs to work a little to develop freeplay?
Also i've noticed that bushing between shock cap and standoff is directed (more flat area on one side), but manual doesn't say anything about it. What direction is proper for installing: more flat area to tower or to locknut? |
