Default Rebuilding spool teeth on a PullStart with epoxy.

To cut a long story short.

I have had to break in 2 Dynamite Mach 2 engines in (.26 and .28) using the pullstarts.

Now I know that these engines have been produced with poorly engineered pullstarts. They really are the weak link to generally decent budget engines.

I have now gone through 3 pullstarts, all fail at the clutch shoe by stripping the teeth internally on the plastic spool.

I have my needle files, dremel and various types of epoxy at the ready.

I have trimmed the teeth a little using the dremel cutters and built up the teeth with some plastic epoxy. I will then trim and cut back the epoxy to get the teeth back to original shape.

So whilst waiting for the glue to cure, I thought I would ask has anyone done this on pullstarts before and what are your experiences.
