Default nitro box battery

Did a quick search and didnt find my answer so thought i would post.

I have a team losi starter box and i am looking to install a 12v lead acid battery into it. I know that it wont be as good as lipo but already spent enough!. Most come with spade connectors, how do people attach these to the tamiya connectors supplied?

thanks
ben

I'm not a big fan on Tamiya connectors. I'd cut them off and make deans plugs for both ends.

Tamiya connectors will melt and fail, your best bet is cut them out and use high voltage connectors
