Default How make HPI D8S into a HB DB

I have a d8s and put in a jammin jpx.21 but it won't touch starter box the guys at my track say I need engine mount and flywheel what do I really need and are there any diffrence between the cars because they are the exact same chassis

You need the engine mount from the standard D8 and the standard D8 or Hara D8 flywheel. I can't remember the size of the D8s flywheel. That may not be needed but the engine mount for sure. The D8s mount is much higher so the pull start on the back of the engine it comes with will clear the chassis.
When you get that fixed, Grab the Hara rear shock tower and shocks. They are taller and will help the handling alot.
