Even if the 8.2 is discontinued, you won't have problems getting parts for it. That's one of the advantages of AE. Parts support is never an issue.

I dont think so. AE came out with Proto shocks a while back. On the previous Proto before the engr was fired. I have no idea how much of the car is parts from other cars, but this proto car is about a year old. I doubt they are using that many parts from other brands at this time. Since the car is slated for a fall release.
