whats all this talk about soft screws?
they use 12.9 hardware which is graded one of the best on the market...just use a decent new driver and you wont have issues..crazy.

Hi,
- This will be great to have a motor mount with 4mm screw holes ( Electric version ).
- The servo saver bellcrank 89015 must be longer with 2 or 3 closed holes : we have to change the proportionality, the ratio is actually 1/1 and I can make all the steering travel with only 85% of the servo travel. A different ratio set-up will be great.
- More lightened parts.
There are many and very logicals other things to do, not only for the RC8.2.
I will show you soon one of the biggest "error" in my opinion, about the shocks and their positions, and with every brands...
I will not say more about new possible parts, because I will produce them soon, then I keep the secret...
Bye !

I was logging in to hopefully hear some REAL upgrades coming on the new chassis. All I have heard is people whinning. Isn't there another thread for that?

This is a clip of some practice of Maifield and Brent doing some testing after the Nationals in Porter Tx. As you can tell its another guy running his SCTE but you can get a peak of what the new car might look like.

The RC8.2 kits are listed in nearly every shop with special prices. Will AE present a new platform for 2014 or only an update on the current the RC8.2?
Not sure if it makes sense to buy another RC8.2 now or wait if something new will come out 2014....
Vertical spindels and the new AVID towers would be worth to buy for the RC8.2, so the price for the package would be quite high. AE should include these parts into their kit ;-)

In the RC8.2 thread somebody mentioned the release of a totally new AE platform for april 2014. So maybe there will be no RC8.3
Too bad, that april is quite a bit late because we have to switch the model mid season. Has someone more detailed information to the new platform?

I would like the rc8.3 to have...
lightened front and rear center shaft.
lightened center spur gear.
lighter and smaller diffs (60g to 70g).
underweight, so that we can place weight on were we want, up front or on center or on the rear of the car.
swap the stock helical gears for straight cut gears (which I did already)
