Watching the vid now of his live feed from Friday. He can’t say much but here is what is coming, sometime this summer:

New Front upper and lower arms. Have the ability to run plastic or carbon stiffeners.

New rear arms, Have the ability to run plastic or carbon stiffeners.

New front and rear narrow pivots (A/B & C/D blocks)

Softer swaybar options.

other than that, tight lipped.

guessing just a rolling update instead of a new kit.

now if they would only restock the ebuggy so I can buy one.

I been to Ultimate a lot. Not so much in the past year since I’ve been trying Mike’s out. But when I was going it was fine. Nothing like you said. Same layout though from like 2 years ago but a few of us are trying to get together to fix it up. I stopped by on Sunday just to see and it’s not bad. Just some weeds. Spoke to the track owner too. He’s down for whatever we need. I’m trying to see if I can go back there soon. Got the itch real bad. Lol.

I figured some softer sway bars were in the works. Rivken ran a 2.4mm rear bar at DNC which is softer than anything available through AE today.

Really the front upper arms have been the only thing that has disappointed me on the car. They are sloppy, even fresh out of the package. If those are the only changes, i'll just update my car and not buy the new kit.

I must be an exception, my front upper arms were super tight, so much so I had to shave some material off for more free movement. I actually shaved too much and now one side is too sloppy!

Same here. I have always had to take a reamer to all the arms to free them up. All of them have been too tight out of the box.

My front uppers and rear arms are always good but my lower fronts always suck. Even reamer wont completely fix them, like there is a twist in the arm. I actually started using mugen lower arms a while but have just recently went back to stock.

The next time I need to replace my arms I may try something. The new Tekno cars have a bushing that goes into the arm where the hinge pin goes though. I may try drilling the AE arms to accept those bushings and see if that will give a little more smoothness and consistency.

Heres to hoping the new arms have this feature already!
