Called and e-mailed a couple of weeks ago and still no response. I understand AE is on the move, but just frustrated.

Well I just measured a couple of my empty shock bodies, and the depth of the bore for the seals is 7.09mm

Add a super thin washer inside the lower cap. Message Richard on FB, he might remember the size needed.

Do the original V1 gears that came in the first RC8B3 work in the RC8B3.1? I have some that appear to be the same tooth count as the current LTC gears.

Pink_sleeve, don't know if you figured this out or not since it's been about a week, but part numbers for the diff housing are different which normally means there was enough of a change to warrant it. but if you have both on hand just try it. If it fits and your in a pinch it could get you through. Or maybe you find a new combination that fits your driving style. Doesn't hurt to do a dry fit.
