Default Getting into 1/8 nitro buggy racing.

Hi, im wanting to get into 1/8 nitro buggy racing, i have raced before and i won my local clubs 2wd short course winter series and looking to step up abit. My budget is about $400-$450 and i have looked at some 1/8 buggies around my local hobby shops and found a thunder tiger Eb-4 s2.5 pro rtr for $370. i was wondering if anyone has used thunder tiger buggies before or even the thunder tiger brand, how strong and durable are they?, are they worth the money? and any modifications worth buying for it before using one?. all your help is well appreciated, cheers.
