My first 8 scale buggy: Losi 8ight 1.0 vs Kyosho Inferno ST???
I'm looking at my first buggy/truggy to get going at the track. I'm looking at either the Losi 8ight 1.0 or the Kyosho Inferno ST. Both would come as rollers. Is there preferences here from you guys? I'm very new to the buggy/ truggy world!
Thanks for any help!

A truggy vs a buggy will be a bit different to drive. A buggy takes a little more precision to drive but can be more rewarding. A buggy also breaks less. A truggy will soak up many mistakes. Also, what class is more popular at your local track and which has more parts support? Personally I would recommend buying a newer kit that has been lightly used. It will take you much farther than the older kits.

Given that Losi is already one of your choices, take a look at

Fantastic prices available for all three TLR 8.2 vehicles.

Prices are already cheap for the 2.0's. You can pick up a new roller for 300.

By time you spend extra money getting it set up with engine, servo's & radio gear, you would be better off getting yourself an rtr buggy thats already got everything & ready to drive.
The JQ Products THE Car rtr version is only $399 & its a great buggy & very strong as well. Would work out a little cheaper getting a complete car to start with.
