Default WHO'S GONE FROM TKI to MBX????

Fellas quick question, I know alot have ended up with TKI and never looked back(very satisfied) But who out there has did the switch "FROM" kyosho? And if you have what were your findings? Not trying to ask if your other choice was better, but what was different? Besides price was there anything your other choice did better than MP?

Im really on the fence between mbx7 and tki3 looks like i can pick up a 7 for $540!! Trying hard to justify the $300 difference, but everyone with a MP has said "its worth every pennie"

Im like you. Ive waffled back and fourth between both cars the last several weeks. That extra $300 can go on a new motor or servos.

I have owned a lot of buggies since I been racing 1/8 scale and currently have the tki3. It is one bad machine and to the date I would have to say its been the best handling buggy when the track gets rough. The mbx7 does look VERY nice . I may have to try one once my k car is completely worn out. To me the mugen has some pretty big shoes to fill but I know mugen makes a solid car. They dont have to run anyone elses parts on there cars
to be competetive.

Don't count out a serpent 2.0 ( third version) it has involved into a solid platform from the first release . Quality, handling, durability IE overall performance is stout. It builds like a glove, you will be very surprised on its total package. Serpent has awesome customer service and support on Rctech.

well for me Personally....
had a chance to try a MBX7 and a new Kyosho
both pretty good....but for 900.00 kyosho "Not worth it"
in "Reality" it is not "That much better" they just did there homework
in finding a "Neutral setting" that was better.....
and "Capitalized on the Marketing" knowing people would get it
no matter the cost...."Just Because"

then Mugen with the Mbx6 was ok?? but the 7 is much more different...
and with the 2 tracks i tried them on the MBX7 was light years easier
not as twichy ,smoother and felt more like a "On Road car" for off road!?!?!
this was in there "Stock Form" no crazy setups that dont work LOL
just "Stock"
fanboys will say the Kyosho is the "Best" and it is good !!!
but the MBX7 ,was at least for me Lap time wise 1 second faster for me?
the "Kyosho LOOKED Faster" was moving around allot still planted......
but the MBX7 looked like it "Wasn't Moving"...??? and was Faster.....
and i drive a compleatly different car....which works better for "Me"

but point is i tried them? and what i found for 900.00 just cause it cost more?
sure is not better???
if you have the 900.00 and need to express it?
sure the best car on the planet.....
and not saying it is not one of the better cars?? cause it is a Great car....
not for 900.00
base of around 540.00 to 520.00 get a Mugen and a Motor and a set of tires
or get a kyosho no motor no tires and spend twice as much on parts !!!
(example alloy Knuckels and caster blocks $250.00 !!! no wonder when Kyosho
driving guys break something there Pissed !!!)

and though i drive a different car all together?
now after driving them both? even if the Kyosho was better priced !! 300.00?
and i did not drive another car?
i would get the MBX7 just me "Personally"
i would suggest trying them both if able to, i was lucky enough to do so
with my radio system.....
the Kyosho still a Kicking car !!! but to justify that cost..??? no it's Marketing
"Cause they Know you wont say No".........
