Default difference between kyosho GT2 diff and inferno 777

hello, Im in the process of rebuilding a old 7.5 into a 777sp2 ( not the smartest thing but at the time the 7.5 was pretty much totaled and I did not realize how many parts were different.

when I removed the diffs in my 7.5 (purchased used) I noticed one diff was like the GT2 (KYOMA050) steel and use a helical cut versus the straight cut used in most if not all of the inferno line.

what are the performance advantages / disadvantages to the helical cut gear versus the more standard straight cut? my guess is better mesh but perhaps not as strong over all? I'm not planing on changing it unless It blows but just wanted to see if anyone has any thoughts on the topic.

this is my first post so go easy if this is a noob question

The straight cut gears are much stronger than the helical gears. Go with the straight cut.
