Judging by your description, I'd say we probably have the same amount of bind. Although I still get a tiny bit of bind at 75% droop. I mean it's not going to burn up my servo, but I know it's not as free as my MBX6 was and it bothers me. I'll double check the my end points and re-adjust.
Glad you can take a joke. I'll probably own a hair dryer someday

Any way, a lot of people talk about how the car needs a couple of gallons for everything to breakin and free up.
How much fuel have ran through it? Maybe give it a little time and check it again.
Cheers

Hair Dryer must be a West Coast term. On the East coast they're called blenders . I'd still be running Nitro if it hadn't died out here in the East. Everyone converted to electric and I don't travel to many big races where Nitro still has big turn outs, so I hung up my glow ignitor.

No fuel through it at all, I bought the kit and converted it to electric right out of the box. I ran it one weekend thus far. My guess is that it's the pillow ball caps binding up the pillow balls somehow. I have always strugged to thread those caps in to the hub straight. I always have them crooked and jacked up.

I have not seen one. I downloaded the 6 and the 7 parts list and check each one for the same part number.
A compatibility list would be great.

Yea, you have to get those caps on right. What I do is start the caps with my fingers( no hex) and if I can get it started that way I know it's not cross threaded. I put the ball in with no arm attached and run the cap in til the ball has some drag then hold it up with the threaded end out and loosen the cap til the ball falls.
Hope that made sense.

Cheers

In general there is very few parts that you can use from the old car. Driveshafts. Outdrives, gearbox, internal diffgears and rear shocks. Wingmount, but you need to use the old wings. Rear shocktower.

How much rebound are you running on the stock setup? I don't see it listed, so I'm assuming that 100% is the ticket.

I didn't like 100%. 0-10% feels good on a large outdoor track. I also ran the shocks dead on the 6R, and currently run them dead on the Eco.

Others will have different preferences for sure.
