Here's my x7 with the FTW BODY. It's nice and snug. Only had to modify the antenna hole, parts of the motor hole. Haven't cut the part for the fuel, but looks like I have to cut it lower than the line.

Watch the clearance for the steering arm as I had to dremel the body to make sure that it moved freely.

Saw a new tank today. They have them for sure. I know someone who got one.

That super hot exhaust pipe is even closer, heck I would be more worried about the teeth on the clutch bell behind the tanl then the lipo all the way on the other side of the chassis.....

It is a different plastic. I didn't sell mine yet. It's still sitting in he box. A friends tank was busted when he got it and he got a new one today that is more like the one from the 6. I will try to get a picture of it.

He is not a team driver. His was cracked on arrival. Don't know the details how he got it.
