Default Front tire balloning

Hi, on my xt8:
Diff: 5 f / 10 c / 3 r
I have a lot of front tire balloning and the truggy pushes a lot when off power. Which way to go? Was thinking on going thicker on the center but it may push more? Suggestions!

Go thinner on the center, will turn better too. I ran 7/7/5 and 7/7/3 on my XT8

If the fronts are ballooning, do not go lighter on the center diff.

One front tire balloon? Thicker front diff fluid.
Both front tires? Thicker center.

Sound like your suspension settings are all wrong. Xt8's don't understeer off power. Maybe you're way too soft, low, or not enough droop in the rear. Wrong tires, too much rear toe in, too little front toe out, not enough rear camber, stiffer rear swaybar.

10/10/3?

Thicker in the center will reduce the ballooning and thicker front will let the rear slide around more and decrease the push. The above 10-10-3 sounds good to me.

Going to try thicker on the center (15k from 10k). Its just that off power I feel that it keeps going thats why I tough that thicker on the center would make it worse. Maybe a glitching servo or some air getting from the fuel line and keeps the revs high... will verify this. Also ordered swaybars to play with.
Thanks

Ok.agree
So from 5-10-3 go to 10-10-3
Or 10-15-3 ? So it addresses the front tire balloning?

Start with 10/10/3. That way all you have to change is one diff. And if you need 15 in the center, thats just a 20min change on raceday.

after 10/10/3 I'd look at suspension setup.

Don't fear thick fluid in the front diff. It deosn't usually hurt turn in as much as it helps exit steering.

Make sure your servo saver is tight as well...
